Our Foundation
Inspired by the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie, the Foundation was established in 1983 to carry forward a long tradition of community generosity and care.
Building on grassroots efforts, the Foundation formalized a shared commitment to compassionate, dignified care.
Today, more than $28 million has been raised to support healthcare and community services across our region.
During our sister's final days at SJCG Hospice/Palliative Care, our family was embraced by the entire staff. The expertise and gentle ways of the interprofessional team made her days more comfortable and our visits more meaningful. For their loving actions we are forever grateful.
Your donations allowed us to purchase a therapy doll that provides comfort, support, and stimulation for residents in need. These dolls make a lasting impact on the wellbeing of our clients.
