Workshop 1: Wills
This workshop is a practical, plain-language walk-through of an Ontario will, designed to help you recognize its common sections, understand what they accomplish, and feel more confident navigating the questions that matter to you. Rather than drafting documents or asking you to make decisions, the session focuses on how wills are typically structured and why certain clauses appear — so you leave with a clearer sense of how intention is translated into legal form.
The workshop runs approximately 45–70 minutes and includes time for questions throughout. You are encouraged to bring a notebook and to engage at your own pace. You are not required to share personal details, and you are not expected to decide anything during the session.

This is a community education session offered by St. Joseph's Foundation of Thunder Bay. The material is presented in a guided, educational format and may include perspectives drawn from legal, financial, or estate-planning practice, without providing individualized advice.
