Workshop 2: Executors and Powers of Attorney
Planning does not end with writing a document. This workshop focuses on the people who act — during incapacity and after death. We clarify the distinct roles of executors and attorneys for property and personal care, outline their responsibilities, and discuss the practical realities they face. Through guided examples, we explore how organization, communication, and thoughtful appointment can reduce confusion, conflict, and burden.
The session is designed to be practical and accessible, with time for questions throughout. You are encouraged to bring a notebook and to engage at your own pace. You are not required to share personal details, and you are not expected to decide anything during the session.
